A complaint was made to the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) about the person who doubts that something has happened to him during his prayer. He said: He should not leave (his prayer) unless he hears a sound or perceives a smell If the Iqāmah for prayer is proclaimed, and the dinner is served, start with the dinner Let not a believing man hate a believing woman. If he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another When you go to a place to relieve yourselves, do not face or turn your back to the Qiblah (prayer direction); rather, turn towards the east or the west None of you should hold his penis with his right hand while urinating, nor wipe himself after answering the call of nature using his right hand, nor breathe into the vessel The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade praying after the Fajr prayer up until the sun rises, and after the ‘Asr prayer until the sun sets Is he who raises his head before the Imam not afraid that Allah may transform his head into that of a donkey or his shape into that of a donkey? The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to raise his hands in line with his shoulders when commencing the prayer, The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) taught me the Tashahhud, with my hand between his two hands, as he would teach me a Surah from the Qur’an Allāuhumma inni a‘ūdhu bika min ‘adhāb al-qabr, wa min ‘adhāb an-nār, wa min fitnat al-mahya wa al-mamāt, wa min fitnat al-masīh ad-dajjāl Allāhumma bā‘id bayni wa bayna khatāyāy kama bā‘dta bayna al-mashriqi wa al-maghrib Be moderate in prostration, and let none of you spread his forearms on the ground like a dog I asked Anas ibn Mālik: Did the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) use to pray with his shoes on? When a dog drinks from the vessel of any of you, let him wash it seven times The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to say before entering the bathroom: "Allāhumma inni a‘ūdhu bika min al-khubuth wa al-khabā’ith (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils) Whoever sincerely asks Allah for martyrdom, Allah will make him reach the status of martyrs even if he dies on his bed People were commanded to make (Tawāf around) the Ka‘bah the last thing they do, but an exception was made for the menstruating woman Manner of performing Ghusl (ritual bath) from Janābah (major ritual impurity) On taking a ritual bath from Janābah (major ritual impurity), the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to wash his hands and perform ablution like that for prayer, then wash himself Do not take my grave as a place of festivity (which you visit repeatedly), and do not take your houses as graves. Send blessings upon me, for your greeting will reach me no matter where you are
