O Abu Sa‘īd, whoever is pleased with Allah as a Lord, with Islam as a religion, and with Muhammad as a messenger, Paradise is guaranteed for him Whoever says: Subhānallāh al-‘azhīm wa bihamdih (Glory be to Allah the Most Great and praise is due to Him), a date palm will be planted for him in Paradise It is not lawful for a Muslim woman to travel the distance of one night unless accompanied by a man who is a Mahram (non-marriageable male relative) to her Has Allah not provided for you that which you can give as charity? Every Tasbīh (saying: Glory be to Allah) is charity; every Takbīr (saying: Allah is the Greatest) is charity; every Tahmīd (saying: Praise be to Allah) is charity; and every Tahlīl (saying: There is no God but Allah) is charity. Enjoining good is charity, forbidding evil is charity, and even in fulfilling the sexual desire of one of you there is charity Do not envy one another, do not raise prices by overbidding against one another, do not hate one another, do not turn your backs on one another, and do not undercut one another in trade; and be, O slaves of Allah, our brothers Whoever relieves a believer from one of the hardships of this world, Allah will relieve him from one of the hardships of the Day of Judgment O people, repent to Allah, for I repent to Him one hundred times a day The Muslim's lower garment should be halfway down the leg. There is no harm - or there is no blame - between that and the ankles. However, what is below the ankles is in the Fire. Whoever trails his lower garment out of vanity, Allah will not look at him Worship at times of chaos is like emigration to me No Muslim invokes Allah with a supplication that does not involve sin or severing ties of kinship, except that Allah will grant him one of three: either His supplication will be answered soon, or He will save it for him in the Hereafter, or He will avert from him an equivalent amount of evil." They said: Then we should do more. He said: "Allah is even more The Prophet of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to say during times of distress: "There is no god but Allah, the Most Great, the Forbearing. There is no god but Allah, the Lord of the Mighty Throne. There is no god but Allah, the Lord of the heavens, the Lord of the earth, and the Lord of the Noble Throne When any of you yawns, let him put his hand over his mouth, for indeed, the devil enters Look at those who are below you, and do not look at those who are above you, for that is more likely to hold you back from belittling the blessing of Allah upon you The Muslim's right over his fellow Muslim is six." It was said: What are they, O Messenger of Allah? He said: "When you meet him, greet him with peace; when he invites you, accept his invitation; when he seeks your advice, advise him; when he sneezes and praises Allah, say Tasmīt to him; when he falls sick, visit him; and when he dies, follow him Allah does not look at the one who drags his garment out of conceit There are two blessings in which many people incur loss: health and free time The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to say in his prostration: "Allāhumma ighfir li dhambi kullahu, diqqahu wa jillahu, wa awwalahu wa ākhirahu, wa ‘alāniyatahu wa sirrahu (O Allah, forgive me all my sins, the small and the great, the first and the last, the public and the private) Indeed, the cursers will not be witnesses or intercessors on the Day of Judgment Verily, your Lord is Bashful and Munificent. He is too Bashful of His slave to let him go empty-handed when raising his hands to Him I said four words three times after I had left you; if they were to be weighed against what you have been saying since morning, they would outweigh them
