We set out with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) on a military campaign. We were six men and had one camel with us which we would take turns riding it. So our feet were injured (from the long walk) and my feet were injured
O Sa‘d ibn Mu‘ādh, the Paradise, by the Lord of the Ka‘bah, I smell the fragrance of Paradise near Mount Uhud
If I lived until I finished eating these dates of mine, it would be a long life indeed. So he threw away the dates he had then fought them until he was killed
