بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

الٓر ۚ كِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ إِلَيْكَ لِتُخْرِجَ ٱلنَّاسَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ
alif-lam-ra kitābun anzalnāhu ilayka litukh'rija l-nāsa mina l-ẓulumāti ilā l-nūri bi-idh'ni rabbihim ilā ṣirāṭi l-ʿazīzi l-ḥamīdi
Alif Laam Ra A Book which We have revealed to you so that you may bring out the mankind from the darkness[es] to the light by the permission (of) their Lord to the Path (of) the All-Mighty the Praiseworthy
2
ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَوَيْلٌ لِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ شَدِيدٍ
al-lahi alladhī lahu mā fī l-samāwāti wamā fī l-arḍi wawaylun lil'kāfirīna min ʿadhābin shadīdin
Allah (is) the One to Him (belongs) whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth And woe to the disbelievers from the punishment severe
3
ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا عَلَى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍ
alladhīna yastaḥibbūna l-ḥayata l-dun'yā ʿalā l-ākhirati wayaṣuddūna ʿan sabīli l-lahi wayabghūnahā ʿiwajan ulāika fī ḍalālin baʿīdin
Those who love more the life (of) the world than the Hereafter and hinder from (the) Path (of) Allah and seek in it crookedness those [in] (are) far astray (are) far astray
4
وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِهِۦ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ ۖ فَيُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
wamā arsalnā min rasūlin illā bilisāni qawmihi liyubayyina lahum fayuḍillu l-lahu man yashāu wayahdī man yashāu wahuwa l-ʿazīzu l-ḥakīmu
And not We sent any Messenger except with the language (of) his people so that he might make clear for them Then Allah lets go astray Then Allah lets go astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills And He (is) the All-Mighty the All-Wise
5
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ أَنْ أَخْرِجْ قَوْمَكَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ وَذَكِّرْهُم بِأَيَّىٰمِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ
walaqad arsalnā mūsā biāyātinā an akhrij qawmaka mina l-ẓulumāti ilā l-nūri wadhakkir'hum bi-ayyāmi l-lahi inna fī dhālika laāyātin likulli ṣabbārin shakūrin
And verily We sent Musa with Our Signs that Bring out your people from the darkness[es] to the light And remind them of the days (of) Allah Indeed in that surely (are) the signs for everyone patient and thankful
6
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ أَنجَىٰكُم مِّنْ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَيُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَآءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمْ ۚ وَفِى ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ
wa-idh qāla mūsā liqawmihi udh'kurū niʿ'mata l-lahi ʿalaykum idh anjākum min āli fir'ʿawna yasūmūnakum sūa l-ʿadhābi wayudhabbiḥūna abnāakum wayastaḥyūna nisāakum wafī dhālikum balāon min rabbikum ʿaẓīmun
And when said Musa to his people Remember (the) Favor of Allah (the) Favor of Allah upon you when He saved you from (the) people (of) Firaun they were afflicting you (with) evil torment and were slaughtering your sons and letting live your women And in that (was) a trial from your Lord great
7
وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ ۖ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِى لَشَدِيدٌ
wa-idh ta-adhana rabbukum la-in shakartum la-azīdannakum wala-in kafartum inna ʿadhābī lashadīdun
And when proclaimed your Lord If you are thankful surely I will increase you but if you are ungrateful indeed My punishment (is) surely severe
8
وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِن تَكْفُرُوٓا۟ أَنتُمْ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌ
waqāla mūsā in takfurū antum waman fī l-arḍi jamīʿan fa-inna l-laha laghaniyyun ḥamīdun
And said Musa If you disbelieve you and whoever (is) in the earth all then indeed Allah certainly (is) Free of need Praiseworthy
9
أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ ۛ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ ۛ لَا يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ۚ جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ فَرَدُّوٓا۟ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِىٓ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كَفَرْنَا بِمَآ أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَفِى شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَنَآ إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ
alam yatikum naba-u alladhīna min qablikum qawmi nūḥin waʿādin wathamūda wa-alladhīna min baʿdihim lā yaʿlamuhum illā l-lahu jāathum rusuluhum bil-bayināti faraddū aydiyahum fī afwāhihim waqālū innā kafarnā bimā ur'sil'tum bihi wa-innā lafī shakkin mimmā tadʿūnanā ilayhi murībin
Has not come to you (the) news (of) those who (were) before you (were) before you the people of Nuh and Aad and Thamud and those who (were) after them (were) after them None knows them except Allah Came to them their Messengers with clear proofs but they returned their hands in their mouths and they said Indeed we [we] disbelieve in what you have been sent with [it] and indeed, we (are) surely in doubt about what you invite us to it suspicious
10
۞ قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِى ٱللَّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ
qālat rusuluhum afī l-lahi shakkun fāṭiri l-samāwāti wal-arḍi yadʿūkum liyaghfira lakum min dhunūbikum wayu-akhirakum ilā ajalin musamman qālū in antum illā basharun mith'lunā turīdūna an taṣuddūnā ʿammā kāna yaʿbudu ābāunā fatūnā bisul'ṭānin mubīnin
Said their Messengers Can (there) be about Allah any doubt (the) Creator (of) the heavens and the earth He invites you so that He may forgive for you [of] your sins and give you respite for a term appointed They said Not you (are) but a human like us you wish to hinder us from what used to worship our forefathers So bring us an authority clear
11
قَالَتْ لَهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ إِن نَّحْنُ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَمُنُّ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لَنَآ أَن نَّأْتِيَكُم بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
qālat lahum rusuluhum in naḥnu illā basharun mith'lukum walākinna l-laha yamunnu ʿalā man yashāu min ʿibādihi wamā kāna lanā an natiyakum bisul'ṭānin illā bi-idh'ni l-lahi waʿalā l-lahi falyatawakkali l-mu'minūna
Said to them their Messengers Not we (are) but a human like you but Allah bestows His Grace on whom He wills of His slaves And not is for us that we bring you an authority except by the permission of Allah by the permission of Allah And upon Allah so let put (their) trust the believers
12
وَمَا لَنَآ أَلَّا نَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وَقَدْ هَدَىٰنَا سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَلَنَصْبِرَنَّ عَلَىٰ مَآ ءَاذَيْتُمُونَا ۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
wamā lanā allā natawakkala ʿalā l-lahi waqad hadānā subulanā walanaṣbiranna ʿalā mā ādhaytumūnā waʿalā l-lahi falyatawakkali l-mutawakilūna
And what (is) for us that not we put our trust upon Allah while certainly He has guided us to our ways And surely we will bear with patience on what harm you may cause us And upon Allah so let put (their) trust the ones who put (their) trust
13
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِرُسُلِهِمْ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِنَآ أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِى مِلَّتِنَا ۖ فَأَوْحَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ لَنُهْلِكَنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
waqāla alladhīna kafarū lirusulihim lanukh'rijannakum min arḍinā aw lataʿūdunna fī millatinā fa-awḥā ilayhim rabbuhum lanuh'likanna l-ẓālimīna
And said those who disbelieved to their Messengers Surely we will drive you out of our land or surely you should return to our religion So inspired to them their Lord We will surely destroy the wrongdoers
14
وَلَنُسْكِنَنَّكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامِى وَخَافَ وَعِيدِ
walanus'kinannakumu l-arḍa min baʿdihim dhālika liman khāfa maqāmī wakhāfa waʿīdi
And surely We will make you dwell (in) the land after them after them That (is) for whoever fears standing before Me and fears My Threat
15
وَٱسْتَفْتَحُوا۟ وَخَابَ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ
wa-is'taftaḥū wakhāba kullu jabbārin ʿanīdin
And they sought victory and disappointed every tyrant obstinate
16
مِّن وَرَآئِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ وَيُسْقَىٰ مِن مَّآءٍ صَدِيدٍ
min warāihi jahannamu wayus'qā min māin ṣadīdin
of him Ahead (is) Hell and he will be made to drink of water purulent
17
يَتَجَرَّعُهُۥ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُسِيغُهُۥ وَيَأْتِيهِ ٱلْمَوْتُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمَيِّتٍ ۖ وَمِن وَرَآئِهِۦ عَذَابٌ غَلِيظٌ
yatajarraʿuhu walā yakādu yusīghuhu wayatīhi l-mawtu min kulli makānin wamā huwa bimayyitin wamin warāihi ʿadhābun ghalīẓun
He will sip it but not he will be near (to) swallowing it And will come to him the death from every side but not he will die And ahead of him And ahead of him (is) a punishment harsh
18
مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ ۖ أَعْمَـٰلُهُمْ كَرَمَادٍ ٱشْتَدَّتْ بِهِ ٱلرِّيحُ فِى يَوْمٍ عَاصِفٍ ۖ لَّا يَقْدِرُونَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا۟ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلضَّلَـٰلُ ٱلْبَعِيدُ
mathalu alladhīna kafarū birabbihim aʿmāluhum karamādin ish'taddat bihi l-rīḥu fī yawmin ʿāṣifin lā yaqdirūna mimmā kasabū ʿalā shayin dhālika huwa l-ḍalālu l-baʿīdu
(The) example (of) those who disbelieve in their Lord their deeds (are) like ashes blows furiously on it the wind in a day stormy No control (they have) of what they have earned on anything That [it] (is) the straying far
19
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ
alam tara anna l-laha khalaqa l-samāwāti wal-arḍa bil-ḥaqi in yasha yudh'hib'kum wayati bikhalqin jadīdin
Do not you see that Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth If He wills He can remove you and bring a creation new
20
وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٍ
wamā dhālika ʿalā l-lahi biʿazīzin
And not (is) that on Allah great
21
وَبَرَزُوا۟ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَ ٱلضُّعَفَـٰٓؤُا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَىْءٍ ۚ قَالُوا۟ لَوْ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنَـٰكُمْ ۖ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْنَآ أَجَزِعْنَآ أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيصٍ
wabarazū lillahi jamīʿan faqāla l-ḍuʿafāu lilladhīna is'takbarū innā kunnā lakum tabaʿan fahal antum mugh'nūna ʿannā min ʿadhābi l-lahi min shayin qālū law hadānā l-lahu lahadaynākum sawāon ʿalaynā ajaziʿ'nā am ṣabarnā mā lanā min maḥīṣin
And they will come forth before Allah all together then will say the weak to those who were arrogant Indeed we we were your followers so can you (be) the one who avails us from (the) punishment (of) Allah anything anything They will say If Allah had guided us Allah had guided us surely we would have guided you (It is) same for us whether we show intolerance or we are patient not (is) for us any place of escape
22
وَقَالَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ لَمَّا قُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَعَدَكُمْ وَعْدَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَوَعَدتُّكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُكُمْ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِىَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَـٰنٍ إِلَّآ أَن دَعَوْتُكُمْ فَٱسْتَجَبْتُمْ لِى ۖ فَلَا تَلُومُونِى وَلُومُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُم ۖ مَّآ أَنَا۠ بِمُصْرِخِكُمْ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُصْرِخِىَّ ۖ إِنِّى كَفَرْتُ بِمَآ أَشْرَكْتُمُونِ مِن قَبْلُ ۗ إِنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
waqāla l-shayṭānu lammā quḍiya l-amru inna l-laha waʿadakum waʿda l-ḥaqi wawaʿadttukum fa-akhlaftukum wamā kāna liya ʿalaykum min sul'ṭānin illā an daʿawtukum fa-is'tajabtum lī falā talūmūnī walūmū anfusakum mā anā bimuṣ'rikhikum wamā antum bimuṣ'rikhiyya innī kafartu bimā ashraktumūni min qablu inna l-ẓālimīna lahum ʿadhābun alīmun
And will say the Shaitaan when has been decided the matter Indeed Allah promised you a promise (of) truth And I promised you but I betrayed you But not I had I had over you any authority except that I invited you and you responded to me So (do) not blame me but blame yourselves Not (can) I (be) your helper and not you (can) (be) my helper Indeed, I deny [of what] your association of me (with Allah) before before Indeed the wrongdoers for them (is) a punishment painful
23
وَأُدْخِلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ تَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَـٰمٌ
wa-ud'khila alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā bi-idh'ni rabbihim taḥiyyatuhum fīhā salāmun
And will be admitted those who believed and did righteous deeds (to) Gardens flows from underneath it the rivers (will) abide forever in it by the permission (of) their Lord their greetings therein (will be) peace
24
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا كَلِمَةً طَيِّبَةً كَشَجَرَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ أَصْلُهَا ثَابِتٌ وَفَرْعُهَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ
alam tara kayfa ḍaraba l-lahu mathalan kalimatan ṭayyibatan kashajaratin ṭayyibatin aṣluhā thābitun wafarʿuhā fī l-samāi
Do not you see how Allah sets forth Allah sets forth the example a word good (is) like a tree good its root (is) firm and its branches (are) in the sky
25
تُؤْتِىٓ أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِينٍۭ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهَا ۗ وَيَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
tu'tī ukulahā kulla ḥīnin bi-idh'ni rabbihā wayaḍribu l-lahu l-amthāla lilnnāsi laʿallahum yatadhakkarūna
Giving its fruit all time by the permission of its Lord And Allah sets forth And Allah sets forth the examples for mankind so that they may remember
26
وَمَثَلُ كَلِمَةٍ خَبِيثَةٍ كَشَجَرَةٍ خَبِيثَةٍ ٱجْتُثَّتْ مِن فَوْقِ ٱلْأَرْضِ مَا لَهَا مِن قَرَارٍ
wamathalu kalimatin khabīthatin kashajaratin khabīthatin uj'tuthat min fawqi l-arḍi mā lahā min qarārin
And (the) example (of) a word evil (is) like a tree evil uprooted from the surface (of) the earth not for it (is) any stability
27
يُثَبِّتُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱلْقَوْلِ ٱلثَّابِتِ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَفِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖ وَيُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ۚ وَيَفْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ مَا يَشَآءُ
yuthabbitu l-lahu alladhīna āmanū bil-qawli l-thābiti fī l-ḥayati l-dun'yā wafī l-ākhirati wayuḍillu l-lahu l-ẓālimīna wayafʿalu l-lahu mā yashāu
Allah keeps firm Allah keeps firm those who believe with the firm word with the firm word in the life (of) the world and in the Hereafter And Allah lets go astray And Allah lets go astray the wrongdoers And Allah does And Allah does what He wills
28
۞ أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ كُفْرًا وَأَحَلُّوا۟ قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ ٱلْبَوَارِ
alam tara ilā alladhīna baddalū niʿ'mata l-lahi kuf'ran wa-aḥallū qawmahum dāra l-bawāri
Have not you seen [to] those who (have) changed (the) Favor (of) Allah (for) disbelief and they led their people (to the) house (of) destruction
29
جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْقَرَارُ
jahannama yaṣlawnahā wabi'sa l-qarāru
Hell (in) it they will burn and a wretched place to settle
30
وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًا لِّيُضِلُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ ۗ قُلْ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَإِنَّ مَصِيرَكُمْ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ
wajaʿalū lillahi andādan liyuḍillū ʿan sabīlihi qul tamattaʿū fa-inna maṣīrakum ilā l-nāri
And they set up to Allah equals so that they mislead from His Path Say Enjoy but indeed your destination (is) to the Fire
31
قُل لِّعِبَادِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ يُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌ لَّا بَيْعٌ فِيهِ وَلَا خِلَـٰلٌ
qul liʿibādiya alladhīna āmanū yuqīmū l-ṣalata wayunfiqū mimmā razaqnāhum sirran waʿalāniyatan min qabli an yatiya yawmun lā bayʿun fīhi walā khilālun
Say to My slaves those who believe (to) establish the prayers and (to) spend from what We have provided them secretly and publicly before before [that] comes a Day not any trade in it and not any friendship
32
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ رِزْقًا لَّكُمْ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلْفُلْكَ لِتَجْرِىَ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ بِأَمْرِهِۦ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرَ
al-lahu alladhī khalaqa l-samāwāti wal-arḍa wa-anzala mina l-samāi māan fa-akhraja bihi mina l-thamarāti riz'qan lakum wasakhara lakumu l-ful'ka litajriya fī l-baḥri bi-amrihi wasakhara lakumu l-anhāra
Allah (is) the One Who created the heavens and the earth and sent down from the sky water then brought forth from it of the fruits (as) a provision for you and subjected for you the ships so that they may sail in the sea by His command and subjected for you the rivers
33
وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ دَآئِبَيْنِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ
wasakhara lakumu l-shamsa wal-qamara dāibayni wasakhara lakumu al-layla wal-nahāra
And He subjected for you the sun and the moon both constantly pursuing their courses and subjected for you the night and the day
34
وَءَاتَىٰكُم مِّن كُلِّ مَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُ ۚ وَإِن تَعُدُّوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَآ ۗ إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لَظَلُومٌ كَفَّارٌ
waātākum min kulli mā sa-altumūhu wa-in taʿuddū niʿ'mata l-lahi lā tuḥ'ṣūhā inna l-insāna laẓalūmun kaffārun
And He gave you of all what you asked of Him And if you count (the) Favor of Allah (the) Favor of Allah not you will (be able to) count them Indeed the mankind (is) surely unjust (and) ungrateful
35
وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْ هَـٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدَ ءَامِنًا وَٱجْنُبْنِى وَبَنِىَّ أَن نَّعْبُدَ ٱلْأَصْنَامَ
wa-idh qāla ib'rāhīmu rabbi ij'ʿal hādhā l-balada āminan wa-uj'nub'nī wabaniyya an naʿbuda l-aṣnāma
And when said Ibrahim My Lord Make this city safe and keep me away and my sons that we worship the idols
36
رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضْلَلْنَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ ۖ فَمَن تَبِعَنِى فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنِّى ۖ وَمَنْ عَصَانِى فَإِنَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
rabbi innahunna aḍlalna kathīran mina l-nāsi faman tabiʿanī fa-innahu minnī waman ʿaṣānī fa-innaka ghafūrun raḥīmun
My Lord Indeed, they have led astray many among the mankind So whoever follows me then indeed, he (is) of me and whoever disobeys me then indeed, You (are) Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful
37
رَّبَّنَآ إِنِّىٓ أَسْكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِى بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِى زَرْعٍ عِندَ بَيْتِكَ ٱلْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱجْعَلْ أَفْـِٔدَةً مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ تَهْوِىٓ إِلَيْهِمْ وَٱرْزُقْهُم مِّنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ
rabbanā innī askantu min dhurriyyatī biwādin ghayri dhī zarʿin ʿinda baytika l-muḥarami rabbanā liyuqīmū l-ṣalata fa-ij'ʿal afidatan mina l-nāsi tahwī ilayhim wa-ur'zuq'hum mina l-thamarāti laʿallahum yashkurūna
Our Lord Indeed, I [I] have settled (some) of my offsprings in a valley not with cultivation near Your Sacred House Your Sacred House our Lord That they may establish the prayers So make hearts of the men incline towards them and provide them with the fruits so that they may be grateful
38
رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِى وَمَا نُعْلِنُ ۗ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مِن شَىْءٍ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ
rabbanā innaka taʿlamu mā nukh'fī wamā nuʿ'linu wamā yakhfā ʿalā l-lahi min shayin fī l-arḍi walā fī l-samāi
Our Lord Indeed, You You know what we conceal and what we proclaim And not (is) hidden from Allah any thing in the earth and not in the heaven
39
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى وَهَبَ لِى عَلَى ٱلْكِبَرِ إِسْمَـٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَـٰقَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى لَسَمِيعُ ٱلدُّعَآءِ
al-ḥamdu lillahi alladhī wahaba lī ʿalā l-kibari is'māʿīla wa-is'ḥāqa inna rabbī lasamīʿu l-duʿāi
All the Praise (is) for Allah the One Who has granted me in the old age Ishmael and Isaac Indeed my Lord (is) All-Hearer (of) the prayer
40
رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْنِى مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِى ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَآءِ
rabbi ij'ʿalnī muqīma l-ṣalati wamin dhurriyyatī rabbanā wataqabbal duʿāi
My Lord Make me an establisher (of) the prayer and from my offsprings Our Lord and accept my prayer
41
رَبَّنَا ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلْحِسَابُ
rabbanā igh'fir lī waliwālidayya walil'mu'minīna yawma yaqūmu l-ḥisābu
Our Lord Forgive me and my parents and the believers (on) the Day will (be) established the account
42
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَـٰفِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ
walā taḥsabanna l-laha ghāfilan ʿammā yaʿmalu l-ẓālimūna innamā yu-akhiruhum liyawmin tashkhaṣu fīhi l-abṣāru
And (do) not think (that) Allah (is) unaware of what do the wrongdoers Only He gives them respite to a Day will stare in it the eyes
43
مُهْطِعِينَ مُقْنِعِى رُءُوسِهِمْ لَا يَرْتَدُّ إِلَيْهِمْ طَرْفُهُمْ ۖ وَأَفْـِٔدَتُهُمْ هَوَآءٌ
muh'ṭiʿīna muq'niʿī ruūsihim lā yartaddu ilayhim ṭarfuhum wa-afidatuhum hawāon
Racing ahead raised up their heads not returning towards them their gaze and their hearts (are) empty
44
وَأَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ أَخِّرْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ نُّجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ ٱلرُّسُلَ ۗ أَوَلَمْ تَكُونُوٓا۟ أَقْسَمْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٍ
wa-andhiri l-nāsa yawma yatīhimu l-ʿadhābu fayaqūlu alladhīna ẓalamū rabbanā akhir'nā ilā ajalin qarībin nujib daʿwataka wanattabiʿi l-rusula awalam takūnū aqsamtum min qablu mā lakum min zawālin
And warn the mankind (of) a Day (when) will come to them the punishment then will say those who did wrong Our Lord Respite us for a term short we will answer Your call and we will follow the Messengers Had not you sworn before before not for you any end
45
وَسَكَنتُمْ فِى مَسَـٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ كَيْفَ فَعَلْنَا بِهِمْ وَضَرَبْنَا لَكُمُ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ
wasakantum fī masākini alladhīna ẓalamū anfusahum watabayyana lakum kayfa faʿalnā bihim waḍarabnā lakumu l-amthāla
And you dwelt in the dwellings (of) those who wronged themselves and it had become clear to you how We dealt with them and We put forth for you the examples
46
وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا۟ مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِندَ ٱللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِن كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ ٱلْجِبَالُ
waqad makarū makrahum waʿinda l-lahi makruhum wa-in kāna makruhum litazūla min'hu l-jibālu
And indeed they planned their plan but with Allah (was) their plan even if was their plan that should be moved by it the mountains
47
فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِفَ وَعْدِهِۦ رُسُلَهُۥٓ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٍ
falā taḥsabanna l-laha mukh'lifa waʿdihi rusulahu inna l-laha ʿazīzun dhū intiqāmin
So (do) not think (that) Allah will fail (to) keep His Promise (to) His Messengers Indeed Allah (is) All-Mighty Owner (of) Retribution Owner (of) Retribution
48
يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ ٱلْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ ۖ وَبَرَزُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلْوَٰحِدِ ٱلْقَهَّارِ
yawma tubaddalu l-arḍu ghayra l-arḍi wal-samāwātu wabarazū lillahi l-wāḥidi l-qahāri
(On the) Day will be changed the earth (to) other (than) the earth and the heavens and they will come forth before Allah the One the Irresistible
49
وَتَرَى ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُّقَرَّنِينَ فِى ٱلْأَصْفَادِ
watarā l-muj'rimīna yawma-idhin muqarranīna fī l-aṣfādi
And you will see the criminals (on) that Day bound together in the chains
50
سَرَابِيلُهُم مِّن قَطِرَانٍ وَتَغْشَىٰ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ
sarābīluhum min qaṭirānin wataghshā wujūhahumu l-nāru
Their garments of tar and will cover their faces the Fire
51
لِيَجْزِىَ ٱللَّهُ كُلَّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْحِسَابِ
liyajziya l-lahu kulla nafsin mā kasabat inna l-laha sarīʿu l-ḥisābi
So that Allah may recompense So that Allah may recompense each soul (for) what it earned Indeed Allah (is) Swift (in) the reckoning
52
هَـٰذَا بَلَـٰغٌ لِّلنَّاسِ وَلِيُنذَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَلِيَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَـٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ وَلِيَذَّكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ
hādhā balāghun lilnnāsi waliyundharū bihi waliyaʿlamū annamā huwa ilāhun wāḥidun waliyadhakkara ulū l-albābi
This (is) a Message for the mankind that they may be warned with it and that they may know that only He (is) One God (is) One God and that may take heed men (of) understanding
