wal-ḍuḥā
By the morning brightness
2
wa-al-layli idhā sajā
And the night when it covers with darkness
3
mā waddaʿaka rabbuka wamā qalā
Not has forsaken you your Lord and not He is displeased
4
walalākhiratu khayrun laka mina l-ūlā
And surely the Hereafter (is) better for you than the first
5
walasawfa yuʿ'ṭīka rabbuka fatarḍā
And soon will give you your Lord then you will be satisfied
6
alam yajid'ka yatīman faāwā
Did not He find you an orphan and give shelter
7
wawajadaka ḍāllan fahadā
And He found you lost so He guided
8
wawajadaka ʿāilan fa-aghnā
And He found you in need so He made self-sufficient
9
fa-ammā l-yatīma falā taqhar
So as for the orphan then (do) not oppress
10
wa-ammā l-sāila falā tanhar
And as for one who asks then (do) not repel
11
wa-ammā biniʿ'mati rabbika faḥaddith
But as for (the) Favor (of) your Lord narrate
