The Creed

Allah, forgive my people for they do not know If Allah wills to show mercy to a people, He takes the soul of their prophet before them, thus making him a forerunner and an intercessor for them May Allah have mercy upon Mūsa! Pardon My slave When the verse of charity was revealed, we would carry loads on our backs. A man came and gave so much in charity, so they said: He is showing off. Another man came and gave a Sā‘ in charity, so they said: Allah is no need for the Sā‘ of that one. Then it was revealed: {Those who criticize the contributors among the believers concerning [their] charities and [criticize] the ones who find nothing [to spend] except their effort} The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) visited me and drank from the mouth of a hanging waterskin while he was standing. So, I got up and cut off its mouth An army will invade the Ka‘bah and when it reaches a desert, all of them will be swallowed up by the earth Jibrīl came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: How do you rate the people who participated in the battle of Badr among you? He said: They are from the best of Muslims Between the two blows (of the Trumpet), there will be (an interval of) forty. The people said: O Abu Hurayrah, do you mean forty days? He said: I cannot say anything The places that are dearest to Allah are the mosques, and the places that are most hateful to Allah are the marketplaces The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) appointed a man in charge of an army unit who led them in prayer; he always concluded his recitation with Sūrat al-Ikhlās A mount was brought to ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) to ride on, and when he put his foot in the stirrup, he said: In the name of Allah He who has wronged his brother, concerning his honor or anything else, let him ask for his pardon today before there comes a time when there will be neither a dinar nor a dirham People will be gathered on the Day of Judgment barefooted, naked, and uncircumcised Allah, Glorified and Exalted, laughs at two men, one of them kills the other, yet both enter Paradise. This one fights in the cause of Allah, so he gets killed. Then Allah accepts the repentance of the killer, so he becomes a Muslim and dies as a martyr People will rise from their graves and stand before the Lord of the Worlds. Some of them will get submerged in their perspiration up to the middle of their ears Whenever the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) ate food, he would lick his three fingers
