When Adam died, the angels washed his body with water an odd number of times, dug him a grave, and said: This is the tradition for Adam's children
While Usayd ibn Hudayr was reciting in his dates storehouse at night, his horse got startled and began to jump. He again recited, and the horse got startled and began to jump again. He again recited, and it got startled and began to jump as before. Usayd said: I was afraid that the horse may trample (my son) Yahya. I stood near it and saw something like a canopy over my head, with what looked like lamps in it, rising up in the sky until I could no longer see it
The saying of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) on the day (of the battle) of Badr: This is Jibrīl holding the head of his horse and equipped with the tools of war
It is as if I am looking at the dust rising in the alleyway of Banu Ghanm from the marching of Jibrīl's parade when the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) set out to Banu Qurayzhah

A man from the Banu Zurayq, whose name was Labīd ibn al-A‘sam, performed magic on the Messenger and he began to imagine that he had done something that he had not done
Abu Jumu‘ah al-Ansāri once came to us and said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) and we were ten, including Mu‘ādh ibn Jabal. We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, is there anyone who will acquire greater rewards than ours?'"
You will proceed with your journey along the evening and the night, then you will come to a place of water, Allah willing, in the morning
In prayer, nothing of people's ordinary speech is allowed. Only Tasbīh, Takbīr, and recitation of the Qur'an are allowed
The majority of the hypocrites of this Ummah are its reciters
What made you come, Abu Hidhyam?
Mūsa (peace be upon him) was a bashful man who used to cover his skin completely out of extreme bashfulness. So some of the children of Israel abused him
‘Īsa the Son of Maryam saw a person stealing. Thereupon, ‘Īsa said to him: Did you steal? He said: No, by the One besides Whom there is no god. So ‘Īsa said: I believed in Allah and disbelieved my eyes
It is not proper for a servant of Allah to say: I am better than Yūnus ibn Matta
The sun was held (from setting) for any human except Yūsha‘ (Joshua), on the nights he marched to Jerusalem
Indeed, Allah has put the truth upon the tongue and in the heart of ‘Umar
The best of you are the kindest to my family after me. He said: ‘Abdur-Rahmān ibn ‘Awf, thus, sold a garden for four hundred thousand, then divided it among the wives of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him)
I saw Ja‘far flying in Paradise with the angels
When Ibrahīm died, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is a wet nurse for him in Paradise
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) wore two coats of mail. He tried to rise over a boulder, but he could not. Then Talhah bowed down and lifted the Prophet, so he could settle on the boulder. He then heard the Prophet saying: It is obligatory for Talhah
