The Creed

On seeing Sa‘d coming, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: This is my maternal uncle. Is there anyone who has an uncle like him? Never was ‘Ammār given a choice between two matters except that he chose the one that is more rightly-guided The two sons of al-‘Ās are believers: ‘Amr and Hishām When Allah intends to take a slave in a (particular) land, He gives him a reason to go there You will invade the Arabian Peninsula and Allah will conquer it; then Persia and Allah will conquer it; then you will attack the Byzantines and Allah will conquer them; then you will attack the Anti-Christ and Allah will conquer him Two groups of my Ummah Allah shall protect from the Fire: a group that invades India and a group that will be with ‘Īsa ibn Maryam (peace be upon both of them) Beware! Every object of pride of the pre-Islamic times, whether it is blood-vengeance or property, or mentioned or claimed, has been put under my feet, except the supply of water to pilgrims and the custody of the House Go back, for I will not seek help from a polytheist Faith has over seventy branches or over sixty branches, the most excellent of which is the declaration that there is no god but Allah, and the lowest of which is the removal of what is harmful from the path; and modesty is a branch of faith The reward of a man's prayer in congregation is twenty five times greater than that of the prayer he offers in his house or market O mother of Hārithah, there are many ranks in the gardens of Paradise, and your son has attained Al-Firdaus No one has ever eaten food better than that which his hands have earned. Indeed, Prophet Dawūd (peace be upon him) used to eat from the earnings of his own hands Read the Qur’an, as it will come as an intercessor for its companions on the Day of Resurrection By the One in Whose hand Muhammad's soul is! I hope that you would be one-half of the inhabitants of Paradise; for none shall enter Paradise except a Muslim soul, and you, compared to the polytheists, are no more than a white hair on the skin of a black ox Whoever carries weapons against us is not one of us Verily, I know that you are a stone that can neither harm nor benefit. Had I not seen the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) kissing you, I would not have kissed you When the funeral is placed and men carry it on their shoulders, if it was righteous, it says: Take me forward, On the Day of Judgment, the sun will be brought close to the people until it is only a Mīl away from them Verily, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) disavowed the Sāliqah (wailing woman), the Hāliqah (shaving woman), and the Shāqqah (woman tearing garment) The Muslim's right over his fellow Muslim is six." It was said: What are they, O Messenger of Allah? He said: "When you meet him, greet him with peace; when he invites you, accept his invitation; when he seeks your advice, advise him; when he sneezes and praises Allah, say Tasmīt to him; when he falls sick, visit him; and when he dies, follow him
